Saudi Arabia’s Transport General Authority (TGA), in cooperation with Dammam Airports Company, has launched the first phase of a new shuttle bus service connecting King Fahd International Airport in Dammam with Jubail and Khafji.
The new service provides regular bus trips in both directions, giving passengers a convenient public transport option between King Fahd International Airport and key cities in the Eastern Province.
King Fahd Airport Shuttle Bus Routes
The first phase of the shuttle bus service covers two main routes:
- King Fahd International Airport – Jubail
- King Fahd International Airport – Khafji
The Jubail route connects the airport with one of the Eastern Province’s major industrial cities, while the Khafji route provides a direct connection to the northern governorate near the Kuwait border.
The service operates in both directions, making it easier for passengers traveling to or from King Fahd International Airport.
Bus Service and Passenger Facilities
The shuttle service is operated by Darb Al Watan under the supervision of the Transport General Authority.
The service aims to improve transport connections between King Fahd International Airport and other cities in the Eastern Province while providing passengers with a reliable alternative to taxis, private vehicles, and rental cars.
Passengers are advised to check the latest bus schedule before traveling, as departure times may vary.
How to Book Shuttle Bus Tickets
Passengers traveling between King Fahd International Airport, Jubail, and Khafji can book their bus journey in two ways:
- Online Booking: Passengers can check available trips and book tickets through the official Darb Al Watan website.
- Airport Ticket Counters: Tickets can also be purchased from service offices located near Arrival Gates 5 and 6 at King Fahd International Airport.
