Saudi Arabia to India Flights: flynas Now Flies From Dammam to 6 Indian Cities and Riyadh to 3

Saudi Arabia to India flights are slowly coming back, and flynas is doing most of the lifting. In an update on 28 October 2026, the Consulate General of India in Jeddah said flynas is flying from Dammam to six Indian cities and from Riyadh to three, while Indian airlines such as IndiGo, Air India and Akasa Air keep their Saudi services suspended into November.

For Indian expats stuck since the airport attacks earlier this month, and for Umrah pilgrims whose return dates have come and gone, this is the most useful list of working routes so far.

Which Saudi Arabia to India flights are running now

The short answer: flynas from Dammam and Riyadh, plus Saudi carriers from Jeddah and Madinah. Here is what the Indian missions have listed.

Departure airportAirlineIndian destinations listed
Dammam (King Fahd International)flynasDelhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Kozhikode, Kochi
Riyadh (King Khalid International)flynasDelhi, Hyderabad, Kozhikode, on select dates only

Jeddah and MadinahSaudi carriers, including SaudiaDestinations not listed by the consulate

The Delhi, Mumbai and Lucknow routes from Dammam were already on the consulate’s 18 October list. Hyderabad, Kozhikode and Kochi are the new additions. On 27 October the Indian Embassy in Riyadh also confirmed that limited operations had restarted at King Khalid International Airport, including India-bound flynas services.

The consulate also points to one-stop options on other international airlines through their hubs. Its earlier update named the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar, subject to each country’s visa and entry rules.

Indian airlines are still suspended

Indian carriers have not returned yet. These are the latest dates the airlines have announced, and every one of them has already been pushed back at least once this month.

  • IndiGo: all flights to and from Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah cancelled until 31 October (our IndiGo cancellation guide).
  • Air India and Air India Express: Riyadh and Dammam suspended until 7 November, Jeddah until 31 October.
  • Akasa Air: Jeddah suspended until 10 November, Riyadh until 30 November.

Air India passengers booked to Riyadh or Dammam up to 7 November can rebook by 21 November. Jeddah passengers booked up to 31 October can rebook by 14 November.

What Indian expats and pilgrims should do now

  1. Check flynas directly. The consulate says schedules and seats change, so confirm the exact date and fare on the flynas app or website before you pay. Riyadh flights run only on some days.
  2. Keep your Indian airline booking open until you decide. If you already hold an IndiGo, Air India or Akasa ticket, ask for a refund or a free date change first, then buy the flynas seat. Do not let the old ticket lapse unused.
  3. Umrah pilgrims should go through their tour operator. The consulate is connecting operators with airlines still flying to India. For hotel or service problems during an extended stay, call the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s Pilgrim Care Centre on 1966 and keep the case number.
  4. Use the consulate control rooms if you are stuck. Jeddah: +966 12 261 4093 or +966 55 612 2301, toll free 800 244 0003, WhatsApp +966 53 620 9704. Riyadh embassy: +966 11 488 4697 or +966 11 488 4698, toll free 800 247 1234, WhatsApp +966 53 621 6082. A second control room is open in Makkah.
  5. Check your iqama and exit re-entry dates. In practice, the flight is not the only deadline. If your exit re-entry visa or visit visa is close to expiry, extend it on Absher before you book, since a cancelled flight does not stop the clock.

What is still unclear

The consulate has not published frequencies, fares or the exact operating days for the Riyadh services, and flynas has not issued its own route announcement. Neither the airlines nor the General Authority of Civil Aviation have given a date for a full return to normal schedules. Passenger rights for cancelled flights in the Kingdom are set by GACA, and pilgrim support is handled by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Book only what you can confirm today, and check again the night before you leave for the airport.
