STC Balance Check Code 2026: Sawa Balance, Recharge and Service Codes

To check your stc balance, dial *166# from your Sawa (prepaid) SIM. It shows your credit and how long your number stays valid. This guide lists every stc code that appears on stc’s own pages: balance and data checks, recharge, credit transfer, KMMEL emergency credit, Sawa and visitor packages, and customer care.

How to Check stc Balance and Data

• Balance: dial *166# and press call. The reply shows your credit and the validity of your number (stc).
• Remaining package: send 2220 by SMS to 900. For the details of your Sawa package, send 8000 to 900.
• Usage history: send 60601 to 900 for your last 5 charged calls, 60602 for your last 5 transfers and 60603 for your last 5 recharges.
• mystc app: the most complete view of your package, data and minutes left, and the place to renew, recharge or stop auto-renewal.

How to Recharge stc Sawa

• Recharge card in mystc or on the stc website: choose the number, then Recharge, then “recharge card”, and type the code from the back of the card (stc). The stc website form also works without logging in.
• By phone: call 1500 and choose recharge.
• By bank card: in mystc (mada, Visa, Mastercard), at stc self-service machines, or through your bank’s app, website or ATM under stc prepaid.
• From a postpaid line: send *144*Sawa number*amount# to 900 (15 to 200 SAR, up to 200 a day and 500 a month).

stc’s current recharge pages no longer list the *155* dial code that many older guides show, so use mystc, the website or 1500.

Because VAT is taken when you recharge, package prices on stc’s site already include VAT and nothing extra is charged when you subscribe.

How to Transfer Balance on stc

• Dial *133*recipient number*amount# and call, or send the same text by SMS to 900, or use mystc (Manage, Transfer, Send).
• Each transfer is 5, 10, 15 or 20 SAR and costs 1 SAR. There is no daily limit on the number of transfers.
• At least 25 SAR must stay in your balance after the transfer (stc).
• Credit you receive by transfer does not extend your number’s validity.
• To ask someone to send you credit, send 170 their number amount to 900; they reply “yes” to 900 to accept (Top Me Up).

stc Emergency Credit: KMMEL

stc’s emergency credit service is called KMMEL (Kammil); blogs often call it “Salefni”. Send 1055 to 900 to switch it on. When your credit reaches zero, you can keep using your line until the balance reaches minus 5.50 SAR, and the amount is deducted from your next recharge or received transfer. It is free, works for most Sawa services except paid subscriptions and credit transfer, and you switch it off with 1056 to 900 (stc).

Balance and Number Validity Rules

• Credit is valid for 90 days from the recharge date.
• Any paid activity (a call, SMS, recharge or package) extends credit validity to up to 90 days and your number’s validity to up to 180 days.
• No paid activity for 90 days: the credit is deleted. No paid activity for 180 days: the number is withdrawn.
• Use or transfer your credit before cancelling or porting your number; porting cancels the credit.

stc Sawa Packages (Prepaid)

Subscribe by sending the activation code by SMS to 900, in mystc, or at an stc shop. Prices include VAT; stc says the current offers run until 28 December 2026 (stc Sawa packages).

stc’s package cards do not show the validity, so check it in mystc before you subscribe. There is no SMS cancel code for Sawa packages: stop auto-renewal in mystc.

stc Visitor SIM Packages

Visitors can buy a Sawa visitor SIM at any stc shop with their passport (stc Sawa visitor). Prices include VAT; offers run until 27 December 2026.

Other Useful stc Codes

Careful with *123#: on stc it activates a Multi SIM, which has a monthly fee. On Mobily, *123# is credit transfer.

Codes You May See Online That stc Does Not List

*150#, *2#, *888#, *160# and “send 166 to 900” appear on many websites but not on stc’s own pages, so they may not work. Use the codes above or the mystc app.

• Open the mystc app, which lists all the numbers on your account.

stc Customer Care and Complaints

• Call 900 from an stc line (it works even with zero credit), or +966 11 455 5555 from outside Saudi Arabia.
• Chat in the mystc app or send “help” by SMS to 900.
• Complain within 60 days; stc says complaints are handled within five days. If not resolved, escalate to CST (19966) (stc customer care).
