Fireworks and drone shows planned for Saudi Arabia’s 96th National Day celebrations have been postponed across the Kingdom.
Enjoy Saudi, the official events platform affiliated with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced that the scheduled fireworks and drone displays would be moved to a later date.
New Dates to Be Announced Later
According to the announcement, the postponement covers fireworks and drone shows planned in different regions of Saudi Arabia.
A revised date has not yet been confirmed. Enjoy Saudi said the new schedule will be announced once the dates are finalized.
Residents and visitors planning to attend the displays should therefore wait for an official update before making plans around the rescheduled shows.
Fireworks Were Planned Across Nine Saudi Cities
As part of the original Saudi National Day programme, fireworks were scheduled for September 23 at 9:00 PM in nine cities across the Kingdom.
The planned locations included Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, Madinah, Hail, Arar, Al Baha, Tabuk and Buraidah.
These fireworks were part of a wider programme of events organized for National Day, which also included airshows, maritime displays, cultural activities and other entertainment events.
